When you use OneMore, we collect the following information:
- Account information: First name, last name, and email address (required to create an account)
- Authentication data: Password (stored securely using encryption), or Apple/Google sign-in identifiers
- Location data: Your device's GPS coordinates, used to show events near you
- Date of birth: Optional, used only to verify eligibility for age-restricted events
- Messages: Content of direct messages sent between users within the app
- Event data: Events you create, including title, description, address, date, and capacity
- Usage data: Events you join, ratings you leave, and interactions within the app
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the OneMore service
- To show you events near your location
- To enable communication between event attendees and organizers
- To verify age eligibility for age-restricted events
- To display your name to other users when you join events or send messages
- To send push notifications about event updates and messages (if enabled)
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is only used within the OneMore platform. Other users can see your first name and last name when you attend events or send messages.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the app:
- Apple Sign In / Google Sign In: For authentication (we receive your name and email)
- TomTom API: For address search and autocomplete (no personal data is sent)
- PlaceKit API: For reverse geocoding of coordinates (no personal data is sent)
- Expo / EAS: For app delivery and push notifications
5. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information:
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption)
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt before storage
- Authentication tokens expire after 7 days
- Rate limiting is applied to prevent abuse
6. Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all your personal data, events, messages, and interactions are permanently removed from our servers.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data (visible in your profile)
- Update your name and personal information
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Request information about how your data is used
8. Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from the app's Profile screen by tapping "Delete Account." This permanently removes all your data. You can also request deletion by emailing us.
9. Children's Privacy
OneMore is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
